We consider all children’s strengths, interests and capabilities when designing programs throughout our service because a child’s interest is an important springboard for learning. Their progress is regularly documented, evaluated and reflected upon to inform future planning for learning and teaching. 

The relationships between DEDK educators, families and the community play an important role in informing program development throughout the service and we proactively share children’s learning with families via ‘Educate’ within our HubHello platform. 

Also, throughout the year, we provide a variety of incursions and special learning experiences that your child will love! 

Education Frameworks

Our service and programs are guided by the principles and standards outlined in the following government documentation:

•    The National Quality Framework (NQF) provides a national approach to regulation, assessment and quality improvement for early childhood education and care and outside school hours care services across Australia
